Covid-19

By its very nature, massage and bodywork requires skin-to-skin contact and you should be familiar with the fact that infection control has always been a top priority for my practice. As we navigate life with additional requirements and modify existing measures due to the coronavirus, please help me to support all of my clients by cooperating with some new requirements.

Center for Clinical Massage follows Practice Guidelines recommended by the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB), along with infection control recommendations made by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. I made these changes to help protect my clients and myself. For example:

  • Please don’t schedule a massage if you have a fever, unusual coughing, shortness of breath, or been diagnosed with Covid-19.

  • Please don’t schedule a massage if you have been around anyone with the above symptoms or currently in quarantine for the required 14 days

  • If you, or someone with whom you live, is high risk, you may want to wait a little longer.

  • Only one client/person at a time in the building.

  • No early arrivals. Time between sessions will be used for proper disinfecting and ventilation.

  • A signed waiver will be required.

  • A quick temperature check will be recorded.

  • Wash hands upon arrival.

  • Hand Sanitizer use before/after touching mask.

  • Wear/bring a CLEAN mask
